1. Žižkov Tower
The Žižkov Television Tower in Prague is one of the city’s most significant landmarks. It is part of the Žižkov hill area and ranks among the best-known public structures in the Czech Republic. The tower offers an observation deck as well as a space with a restaurant, café, and bar overlooking the whole of Prague. The tower is made of concrete and steel beams and stands 216 metres tall. If you want to see Prague laid out at your feet, you will not find a better place in the city.
2. Šiška Lookout Tower
The Šiška lookout tower is located in the popular Prague park Ladronka. It is one of the most original structures in the area, as it was built from an old tank. It appeared in Prague 6 in 2020, making it a relatively new excursion spot in Prague that is well worth visiting. It is a low tower of approximately 11 metres in height, but it definitely has the potential to become a popular tourist attraction. At the top there is a small platform and viewpoint, and if you are lucky enough to have a clear sky, you can see as far as Prague 5.
3. Doubravka XIV Lookout Tower
Doubravka lookout tower was opened to the public in 2018, but it has already been through a lot. It has welcomed not only thousands of visitors, but unfortunately also suffered a fire in 2019. However, the tower was repaired and continues to serve as a destination for tourist trips. It is located in the Čihadla Nature Park in Prague 14. If you are a fan of both nature and architecture, you will definitely enjoy this place. The structure consists of three massive legs made of bent acacia wood. Its summit platform, at a height of 20 metres, is reached by climbing 98 steps. The top of the tower is decorated with a weather vane three and a half metres high. It is truly worth seeing, both the Doubravka XIV tower itself and the beautiful view from it.
4. Petřín
Petřín Lookout Tower is best known for resembling the Eiffel Tower. It measures just under 60 metres and stands at an altitude of 324 metres above sea level. Tourists and Prague residents have been climbing it regularly since 1891. There are many steps to the top, but fortunately there is also a lift that takes you to the observation cabin at a height of 51 metres. Petřín is one of the places in Prague you simply cannot miss.

This viewpoint was created in 2020 on Letná Plain between the Hanavský Pavilion and the site of the former Stalin monument. The location was enhanced with an elegant wooden observation platform with a protective railing, allowing visitors to enjoy the view comfortably while also protecting the slope from further degradation, which had unfortunately been extensive in previous years.
10. Pletená Lookout Tower
The Pletená lookout tower is located in the courtyard of Karlín Barracks in Prague 8. In fact, it is a sculpture by the sculptor Čestmír Suška, and it is completely unique in that it does not provide views of the wider surroundings. Because its height does not exceed the surrounding buildings, it offers views only into the inner courtyard, where there is a playground, a fire pit, and benches for relaxation. The tower is only 7 metres high and is freely accessible to the public.
11. Thomayer Viewpoint on Vítkov Hill
Thomayer Viewpoint on Vítkov Hill is a gazebo that adorns the north-western part of the hill. In 2022, this gazebo underwent extensive renovation and became a resting place with an unusual view of Prague. The viewpoint offers views of the new Prague 12 Town Hall, the U Dubu and Hyacint residential complexes, and the Na Beránku housing estate. The total height of the tower is 12.5 metres.

16. Baba Viewpoint

17. Řetězovka Lookout Tower
Řetězovka lookout tower in Radotín near Prague has a total height of 8 metres, with the observation platform situated 5 metres above the ground. One of the unique metal lookout towers created by sculptor Čestmír Suška found its place near Prague–Radotín railway station. The tower is based on two discarded tanks originally used for storing wine and coming from Hodonín. These were transformed into a unique lookout tower with openings shaped like bicycle chain links, which gave it the name the Řetězovka cycling lookout tower.
18. Dobeška Viewpoint
Dobeška Viewpoint, a 2-metre-high wooden structure, stands in the Dobeška forest park on top of the Braník rocks. It is accessible by public transport, cycle paths, and walking routes at any time. From this viewpoint, you can admire a variety of scenery well worth the climb. To the north, the impressive silhouette of Prague Castle and Hradčany dominates the horizon, with Petřín Tower and Vyšehrad visible in the distance. Skalka lookout tower near Vyžlovka rises on a hill close to the highest point of the village of Vyžlovka. It offers views from an altitude of approximately 455 metres and, under favourable conditions, provides an impressive panorama of the wider area. From this height, it is possible to see distant peaks such as Milešovka, Říp, Vlhošť, Bezděz, Ralsko, Ještěd, Sněžka, and the ridges of the Orlické Mountains. The tower itself reaches a total height of 25 metres, allowing visitors to rise above the landscape and enjoy endless panoramic views.
