A traditional aspect of this exhibition is the presentation of the Prague Prize by the Mayor of Prague. Again this year the chosen photograph has a deep human message. The Prague Prize winner, Irish photographer Andrew McConnell, also picked up two other awards in the sections “Arts and Entertainment” and “Portraits.”
What’s on display?
The photographs in the exhibition map events all around the world. You will find here series created after the death of President Kaczyński, testimony from Haiti, Somalia, from the “red shirt” battles in Thailand etc. You will also see sports shots and nature photography just as fascinating as images of everyday life in the city.
